MAN SERIOUSLY INJURED
Run Over While
Lying On Road
A man who fell from a power-cycle in Yaldhurst road, near Avonhead road, about 6.30 p.m. on Saturday, suffered serious injuries when he was run over by a car. He is William Ross Lochrie. of 46 Bentley street. Upper Riccarton.
He was taken by St. John ambulance to the Christchurch Hospital and admitted It was reported last evening that there was no change in his condition and that he was still unconscious. Mr Lochrie is on the seriously ill list. Mr Lochrie may have fallen from his power-cycle when he was involved in a collision with another vehicle, whose driver did not realise there had been an accident. While lying on the road Mr Lochrie was run over by a car driven by lan Alexander Boyd, of 51 Bevington street. Upper Riccarton. The police want to interview any persons who saw the accident.
