MINOR FIRES
‘ One unit from the St. Albaijs station attended a small fire tn a couch at the home of Mrs Beatrice Cook. 61 Rugby street at 11.59 p.m on Saturday.
A grass fire on the property bi Mr Francis Aldridge. 15 Ay leaf old street, was extilfguished by one unit at 12.19 p.m. yesterday. At 12 59 p.m two units from the New Brighton station and one unit from the Woolston station extinguished a grass fire on a Christchurch City Council reserve st 339 Weinoni road.
An oven fire tn the caretaker's house tn Linwood Park, occupied by Mr C. Reid, was attended by units from the Central and Woolston stations at 4.37 p.m.
