Gay Jillian Loses Win
Gay Jillian was disqualified from her first-equal placing in the Intermediate Handicap after an inquiry at Addington on Saturday. Gay Jillian dead-heated for first with Harbour Light, but broke a few yards short of the poet An objection on the grounds of galloping was lodged against Gay Jillian after the race.
After hearing the evidence the stipendiary stewards decided to relegate Gay Jillian to third.
The placings were amended to Harbour Ligh t 1; Astralight 2; Gay Jillian 3
