Easter Break At Freezing Works
Killing at the nine freezing works in the Canterbury industrial district, from Picton to Pareora, will stop at the end of normal working hours today for the Easter holiday break, and will be resumed next Wednesday. April 17
The men in the usual fol-•’>w-up departments would work tomorrow so that the works would be ready for killing next Wednesday, the secretary of the Canterbury Freezing Workers’ Union (Mr S. Arnst) said.
