Work Of W.D.F.F. At Kaituna
Regular parcels of food and clothing had been sent to a small child being sponsored in Italy, and financial assistance had been given to a local family who lost their home by fire, and another family who required assistance, Mrs L. Cooper (president) reported at the annual meeting of the Kaituna Women's Division of Federated Farmers. Luncheon stalls and bring and buy stalls had been run to raise funds during the year. The following officers were elected: president, Mrs G. Gray: vice-president, Mrs M Miller; secretary, Mrs G. Burrows; treasurer. Mrs S. Patten; secretary in charge of sponsored child, Mrs W. Iggo; committee, Mesdames B Beach, H. Barrett, I. Humphrey, M. Marriot, R. McIntosh, P. dePass: delegates. Mesdames L. Cooper, G. Gray, S. Patten.
