Three Judges in the Pretorian Supreme Court today restored to the Justice Minv ‘er (Mr Balthazar Vorster) his right to confine “Communisms” to house arrest under the sabotage law, according to the Associated Press. Percy John Hodgson, one of the first South Africans placed under 24-hour daily house arrest last November, had won an appeal against the Minister’s order and was temporarily relieved from strict confinement. Today the full bench of the Supreme Court rejected that decision 2-1.
