Beckenham Officers Floral sprays were presented to Mrs C. Ironside (Dominion executive) and Mrs A. Thomson (area president) at the annual meeting of the Beckenham Townswomen's Guild. Prizes won for the year were: guild. Mrs W. Robinson 1. Mrs W McCoy 2. Mrs V Moir 3; arts and crafts, Mrs M. Coni tier 1. Mrs K Steinmetz 2, Mrs A. Robb 3; garden circle, Mrs N. Ferguson 1. Miss M. Bates 2. Mrs L. Davies 3. The following officers were elected: president, Mr* R. Allison; secretary, Mrs W Grieve; treasurer, Mr® W Robinson; committee, Mesdames D. Allsop, M. Calderwood. M. Conitier. B. Hayes, R. Hamilton. S. Hensley. L. Hole. I Baxter, W Brownlees, E. Piper. J. Milne, K. Steinmetz: auditor, Mr L. H McCalman; press reporter.
