ASSISTANT ENGINEER. Salary £l2OO to £l5OO per annum. Applicants should preferably be Registered Engineers with practical experience in Municipal engineering works, particularly reading, stormwater drainage and waterworks. The successful applicant will be required to supply and maintain a suitable motor-vehicle to enable him to carry out the duties, for which a mileage allowance will be paid. 2. ENGINEERING ASSISTANT. Salary £lO5O to £l2OO per annum. Applicants should be qualified and have practical experience of reading and drainage. The successful applicant may be required to provide his own transport to carry out the duties, in which case a mileage allowance would be paid. 3. DRAINAGE AND PLUMBING INSPECTOR. Salary £960 to £llOO per annum. Applicants, preferably with a knowledge of Public Health Inspector's duties and* practical experience in the duties of a Drainage and Plumbing Inspector The successful applicant will be required to supply and maintain a suitable motor vehicle to enable him to carry out the duties, for which a mileage allowance will be paid. 4. DRAUGHTSMAN. Applicants must be neat and accurate Draughtsmen. preferably with experience in Municipal engineering works. The salary will be in accordance with the Northern Local Authorities Officers’ Award. Conditions of the above appointments.
