CHAMPIONSHIPS TOMORROW
Last Competition Of Season The Midland Marching Associaition will hold its annual championships on the Lincoln Recreation Ground at 10 a.m tomorrow. The event, which was cancelled because of adverse weather conditions last October, will be the seventh and final champion, shios held in Canterbury this season and it will be only the second time in eight years that Lincoln has been the venue for a marching competition. In attendance will be the City of Christchurch Ladies' Pipe Band and the Metropolitan Fire Brigade Brass Band. There is a large entry of 34 teams, and this includes some of the leading South Island marchers.
