NO DELIVERY ON FOUR DAYS
Post Office Hours At Easter
The only service operated by the Chief Post Office which will not be affected by the Easter holidays is the telephone exchange. It will be open for its normal service.
The last postal deliveries before Easter will be made on April 11. No further deliveries will be made until the following Tuesday. April 16. when all services will resume their normal timetables. The Savings Bank will be dosed from 8.30 p.m. on April 11. Postal counters will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m on April 11 and from 8301130 a.m., on April 13 (Saturday). They will be closed on Good Friday, Easter Day and Easter Monday. Surface mails dose at 7 a m. on Good Friday and Easter Monday. They will not be cleared on Easter Day. Airmails dose at 8 a.m. on the three days. Street posting boxes will not be cleared at 9 p.m, on April 11 but there will be a 9 p.m. clearing on Good Friday, Easter Day and Easter Monday. The telegraph counter will
be open from 8 aun.-lO p.m. on April 11; 10-1030 a.m„ and 6 30-730 p.m. on April 12 and 14; 8.30 a.m.-530 pun. on April 13; and 9 a.m.-2 p.m. and 7-10 pun. on April 15 Tbe publie telephone* m front of the Po»t Office are available for toll calls and telegrams when tbe telegraph counter is dosed.
