More Births And Deaths
Births and deaths in March and during the first three months of the year were more than those during the corresponding periods in 1962. There were fewer marriage notices for the month and tihe quarter, and the quarterly total of mamag-.-s by Registrar, was less than last veer. Figures, with last year’s in parenthesis, are:— March.— Births. 501 (495>; deaths, 190 (179); marriage notices, 170 (179); marriages by Registrar 48 (39). Quarterly figures.—Births. 1534 (1506); deaths, 548 <sos>: marriage notices, 568 ( 577): marriages by Registrar, 95 (98).
