UNIVERSITY VISIT
Former Cambridge Professor Prafeasor W. H. Bruford, formerly professor of German at Cambridge University, would visit the University of Canterbury for three days, probably in June, said Mr T. £ Carter, senior lecturer in modern languages at the university, yesterday. Professor Bruford is this year's visiting professor of German at the University of Otago. During his visit to Christchurch, Professor Bruford would give three lectures in his specialty—Germany in the eighteenth century—to advanced students. He might also address the Staff Club on a comparison between university affairs in general ini England and New Zealand,-
