No Cover For Twist
(NZ. Preu Assn.—Copyright) WARSAW, March 28. A Polish man has complained that Lloyd’s of London had declined to insure him against possible injuries from dancing the twist the Associated Press reported. Polish insurance companies will not cover him either, so Zbigniew Rogowski said he had given up the idea of learning to twist ‘Tm afraid to learn without insurance,” he said in a letter to the Polish weekly “Prze Kroj.” Mr Rogowski said London insurance agents had told him Lloyd's declined on the grounds of “procedural complications" and distance.
Bugler At Siege
(HZ Press Asn—Copyright) LONDON, March 28. Sidney Charles Starkey, Lord Baden Powell's bugler at the siege of Mafeking in the Boer War, has died at Stone, Staffordshire, aged 78. He joined the army at the We of 14, the "Daily Telegraph” reported.
