Dr. I. B. Faris has been appointed medical superintendent of St Helens Hospital, Auckland. He succeeds Dr. C. D. Lindsay.—(P.A.) Mr J. A. Stenberg, of Auckland, has been reappointed to the New Zealand Broadcasting Corporation for another three years. -(PA.) The Australian Trade Commissioner in the South Island (Mr S. D. Shubart) returned to Christchurch yesterday after a month’s visit to Australia. Mr W. S. Wauchop and Dr. J. C. Beaglehole have been appointed to the Board of Tn etees of the National Art Gallery and Dominion Museum.—(PA.) *
