UNION OFFICERS ELECTED
The foltowing officer! were tooted art the annual meeting of the Christchurch Cleaners, Caretakers, and Lift Attendants’ Union; president, Mr E. Christian; vice-president. Mr F. J. Bebbington; executive, Messrs L. Lee, H. G Upton, F. E. Welch, P. G. Walker, and P. D. Fttzasmmons. The union secretary (Mr C R. Thomas) said that the meeting was in favour of changing the name of the union to “Canterbury” instead of “Christchurch.** A special meeting will be held to put this motion, and also to make provision for an aaristanrt-eecretary.
