HELD KNIFE AT THROAT
Men Guilty Of Robbery (NJ!. Pres* Association) DUNEDIN, March 27. A youth had held a carving knife at Winsor Lenten Rowan’s throat after forcing him to lie on his bed while hi. companion set about robbing him. Mr J. D. Willis, S.M, was told by DetectiveSergeant J. K. Hamilton in the Magistrate’s Court today. Before the Magistrate were George Patrick Fiddes, aged 21, a window cleaner, and Louis Alexander Owen, aged 19, a scaffolder, who pleaded guilty through Mr J. M. Hanan to robbing Rowan, of Wesley street, South Dunedin, at 1030 pjn. on March 20. Fiddes and Owen were charged with stealing from Rowan a watch valued at £ 10, a wallet valued at 5s and £l4 in money, the contents of the wallet Both were remanded in custody until Monday for sentence.
