Princess’s Visit “Pure Rumour”
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, March 26. The Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake) tonight said the Government had no intention at present of inviting either Princess Margaret or Princess Alexandra to visit New Zealand. A weekly newspaper's claim that the Deputy Prime Minister (Mr Marshall) might discuss a possible visit when he visited London in May was “pure rumour,’’ he said.
