Anti-Fascist U.K. Move

(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) LONDON, March 26. Britain’s Home Secretary (Mr Henry Brooke) has decided to strengthen the law on public order against breaches on religious or racial grounds, the “Guardian” reported. Mr Brooke has described Britain’s Fascist parties as ■‘contemptible.’’ He told the annual meeting of the AngloJewish Association in London the Government planned to introduce legislation “as soon as a suitable opportunity occurs.”

This would substantially increase existing penalties for breaches against the Public Meeting Act and a section of the Public Order Act.
