Godfrey Finishes Well Down (NX.PX.-Keuter-Copvricrht) SINGAPOR& Peb. M. The young South, African professional, Allan Brookes, scored a record-breakin* M to win the Singapore open goif championship at the Royal island Club today. Brookes, who led by one stroke at the end of the third round yesterday,-had a magnificent 51 for the second nine holes of the fourth round. Brooke* finished with an aggregate of 876 and won _by ■even strokes from Tomoo Ishii (Japan). Alan Murray (Australia) was third with 288. The New Zealand player, W. J. Godfrey, with round* of 75. 75, 74, 72, for an aggregate of 295, finished well down the list.
