Bowls Matamata Wins R.S.A. Fours
(NX. Press Association) NAPIER, Feb. 34. A team from Matamata—J, J. Simpson, M. W, MsdUl, T. J. Lynch, and T. Roband (skip)— won the New Zealand R.S.A. fours bowling tournament in Napier today. In a 14-end final they beet 6. L. Haase, B. R. Hill, A. North, and A. b. Page (skip) from dolden Bay. 14-13. In the semi-finals Golden Bay beat Christchurch, and Matamata defeated Greymouth. The South Island won the Hannan Shield in an inter-island competition held in conjunction with the national tournament.
