ARCHERY CLUB SHOOT
In a Burton round held on Saturday by the Christchurch Archery Club. S. Davis set,a new club record with a score of 782. This will also be claimed as a South Island record as it beats the score of 757, held by the New Zealand champion, J. Bruning, of Westport. Results were:— Men.—S, Davis 782 V, Menfath 706, A. Dawson 865. Women.—Mrs J. Cattermole 668, Mrs D. Browne 639, Miss H. Hannah 612, Intermediate.—D. McAuley 471. Junior (Olympic Round).—L. Moore 238. Boyd Campbell 217, W. Humphries 1615.
