Lamb 9 Boner Beef Down
Export schedule prices for all grades of lamb were reduced jd per Lb yesterday. The last change in lamb prices was made on February 11, when prices of lightweight seconds were increased id per lib. The top price for prime woolly lambs is now 19d (for 20-28ib lambs) and the price for 291b-361b lambs is 17d. Prices for shorn lambs are 2Jd per lb lower than for woolly lambs of the same grade. Boner beef and f.a.ci. cow prices have been reduced 5s per 1001 b. Boner cow and heifer, all weights, is now paid for at 82s 6d per 1001 b, overfat boner cow, ox and heifer at 52s 6d and boner bull at 112* 6d. All weights of f.a.q. coW are paid for at 82s 6d per 1001 b. This is the second successive weekly reduction in prices for these grades.
Alliance To Export (N.Z. Press Association) WELUNG’fON, Feb. 22. The chairman of Alliance Textile*, Ltd. (Mr L. H. Whyte) announced today his company ‘ had decided to establish an export division within. the group. He said the company had already made encouraging prqgress in export sales.
