Summer Flower Show At West Melton

Although the number of entries at the West Melton

Horticultural Society’s summer show showed a drop, the standard of other years was maintained. Entries were 300 down on last year’s 1324. The premier bloom was exhibited by S. A. Harris, of Kaiapoi, and the award for the most outstanding decorative exhibit went to Mrs A. M. Calder (Courtenay). In the needlework section the award for the most outstanding article went to Mrs D.
