Health Minister To Visit Hospitals
The annual conference of the Royal Society of Health will be opened in Christchurch next Tuesday morning by the Minister of Health (Mr McKay). After the opening, the minister will visit maternity hospitals at Kaiapod, Rangiora, Oxford, Waiikari, and Rotherham. He will then stay overnight art Hammer Springs where he will visit the Queen Mary Hospital before driving to Cheviot. He is expected to return to Christchurch on Wednesday afternoon, when he will visit Sunnyside Hospital. The following morning he will inspect the Templeton hospital and training school. The Minister will fly back to Wellington on Thursday afternoon.
