The massive and rich arrangement of chrysanthemums, lilies and other late summer flowers shown on the right is the work of Mr D. G. McLachlan, of Culverden. The RedcliffsSumner Garden club called their silhouette ocean garden, “Treasures from the Sea.” The North, Canterbury Hospital Board’s vegetable display is one of several spectacular produce tables.
