Another Cup To L. G. Coles
(N.ZJ’A.-Reuter) MELBOURNE, Feb. 20. The former New Zealand rider L. G. Coles continued his winning run in Victoria yesterday vjhen he won the Colac Cup on Welkin Prince, 20/1. During the spring, Coles won the Melbourne, Caulfield, and Werribee Cups on Even Stevens. CHANGE OF STABLE.— Wind vale Lad and Windvale Lass, which were previously trained by their South Canterbury owner-breeder, Mr C. T. Stewart, have been transferred to J. C. Hobbs’s stable at Oamaru.—(P.S.S.)
