Canterbury stable* are strongly represented on the programme for the first day of the Dunedin Jockey Club’s autumn meeting today. Unless the ground deteriorates under more rain th* front-running Studio will take beating in the Otago Handicap, first leg of the . T.AJ3. double. He is one of three form runnere from Rfccarton to be ridden today by C. T. Wilson. The others are the stablemates Vault (Trial Stakes) and Hullabaloo (Tradesmen’s Handicap). Vault and Hullabaloo are owned by Mr J. B. Douglas-Gifford and trained by R. Preece.

Seaend will be another strong runner for Riccarton today. She is in tha Autumn Handicap, the second leg of the T.A3. double. On form there may be little between Seaend and the Wingatui three - year - old Royal Estate. Seaend was fourth and Royal Estate fifth in the mile Duke of Edinburgh Stakes at Riccarton last Saturday. Seaend probably clinched favouritism with a brilliant gallop yesterday. The beet of Studio's southern rivals in the Otago Handicap will probably be Royal Crest, Barrister and Panther. Woodcock and Bright Countess, both form horses, have been scratched for the Central Improvers' Handicap, the second leg of the course double.

The Washdyke - trained Coral Morn may come out on top In this race, and Mangus, also from Washdyke, looks a prospect equally bright in the TaiMl Hurdles, first leg of the course double.

She may race on Saturday.

Polly Alonzo has been scratched from the Tradesmen's Handicap. Thia allows Dellonzo to re-enter the field.
