N.Z. Ratification

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Feb. 20. The Government’s decision to ratify the U.N.E.S.C.O. convention against discrimination in education was announced today by the Minister of Education (Mr Tennent). The convention is designed to promote equality and justice by combating discrimination in education and it' has, to date, been ratified by 12 countries, including the United Kingdom add France. “Our education system has a high reputation overseas tor its lack of any form of discrimination and it is therefore fitting that New Zealand should be among the first countries to ratify this convention,” said Mr Tennent
