SAFETY WITH FIREARMS
Lectures To School Pupils Lectures and demonstrations on aaftey with firearms were given to about 90 Christchurch Boys’ High School pupils at the school hostel last evening by three members of the Canterbury branch of the New Zealand
Deerstalkers’ Association. The evening was held in conjunction with barracks week, now being held at the school. The president of the branch (Mr A. F. Burden), spoke on accidents with firearms in New Zealand during the last tew years end their causes. Mr L. Perham showed how rifles should be handled smd how accidents could happen with faulty handling Mr X. Turner spoke on tiosttata with Mauna.
