Sharemarket Steady At Week’s Close
Of 87 issues traded in New Zealand yesterday 51 were sold at unchanged prices and the 18 rises and 18 falls were mainly minor. The volume of trading was well maintained but slightly below the previous Friday’s 94 issues. Love Construction (up Is), Heards B (up 2s) and Hellaby 1962 (up 2s 3d) made the best gains amongst New Zealand shares while National Bank of Australasia rose 3s to 34s 9d. Wright Stephenson lost Is of recent gains to sell at 34s and Innes Industries were also down Is at 375.
