RETURN TO NOUMEA

21 French Children

(N.Z. Press Association) CKLAND, February 15.

Twenty-one French students from Noumea flew back to New Caledonia from Auckland tonight with only one small complaint—no wine is served with New Zealand meals.

The youngsters—their average age was 14—had the time of their lives. They spent a month living with New Zealand families in various parts of the country. They travelled widely and brushed up their English in the process.

Their parents in New Caledonia will not recognise some of them—they have put on so much weight, thanks to healthy appetites that revelled in the rich New Zealand diet.
