(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) LONDON, February 15. A “rare old Scotch whisky” is being sold in Germany under the name “Prince Philipp," the “Daily Mail” said today. But its distributor, Mr Egon Schoeppe, told the newspaper: This has nothing to do with your Prince Philip.” The whisky is blended and exported by the firm of Reid. Wright and Holloway, of London and Glasgow. The “Daily Mail" reporter in Munich said he put it to Mr Schoeppe that in spite of the double “p" people in Germany were bound to associate the name with the Duke of Edinburgh. Mr Schoeppe replied: “Oh nu, it is connected with the Landgrave Philipp of Hesse.” (Landgrave is a German title for princes.) In London, a spokesman for the exporting firm commented: “This doesn't concern us. We just export the whisky and they can put on their own labels."
