‘Mufti’ Patrols Supported
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, February 14. The council of the Automobile Association (Auckland), last night decided that the move of the Auckland City Council traffic department in returning to the use of some unidentified vehicles for traffic patrols was in the interests of road safety. Mr R. W. Kemp, of Hamilton. said he was sorry the system was ever discarded. Speed limits were not observed by 95 per cent, of motorists. What was their use if they were not enfotvod?
