Resumption Of Relations

(N.Z. Press Assn.— Copyright) RABAT (Morocco), Feb. 14. Algeria and Tunisia have settled their differences, it was announced today by King Hassan of Morocco at an early morning press conference in Rabat, after three days of talks between the Foreign Ministers of Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia. Delegation' officials said Algeria had agreed to curb the political activities of Tunisian opposition leaders who have taken refuge in Algeria. In return, Tunisia has agreed to stop all verbal attacks against Algeria. Both countries agreed to resume diplomatic relations, the officials said. Tunisia withdrew its Ambassador from Algiers last month after uncovering a plot to assassinate President Bourguiba. Algeria also withdrew its Ambassador after being accused of supporting the conspirators. The Ministers agreed to coordinate their trade policies and also to co-operate in the technical and educational fields.
