Queen Marks Anniversary
(N.Z. Press Association) NAPIER, Feb. 14. Napier’s oldest married couple, Mr and Mrs J. W. Callaghan, today received a message from the Queen as they celebrated their sixtyfifth wedding anniversary. Mr and Mrs Callaghan, married in Newcastle, New South Wales, in 1896, sailed for New Zealand after their wedding and Mr Callaghan was accountant and chief cashier of Wellington's tramway system before coming to Napier as tramway manager in 1913.
