Rome Doctors’ Strike Ends

Rome’s 6000 docors went back to work today after a three-day protest strike over paper work and fees that left medical facilities staffed only for emergency cases, the Associated Press said. But this did not end the rash of labour troubles plaguing the nation. Court clerks throughout Italy threatened to paralyse court actions in a walk-out to back demands for higher wages.
