Four Children Take Poison
Four children were admitted to the Christchurch Hospital last week after poisoning accidents. All have since been discharged. A girl, aged 13 months, was admitted on Friday after taking tablets used against acute bronchitis. A brother and sister of three and two were admitted on Saturday after swallowing tablets of soluble aspirin. On Sunday, a girl of two was admitted after drinking turpentine.
