Apology To Duke Of Windsor

The Duke of Windsor has received an apology because he was not informed in advance of references to him in recently-published German documents, the House of Commons was told yesterday. References to his role as King Edward the Eighth in Anglo-Gerrpan relations were in captured German official documents published jointly in Decern’ er by the British Foreign Office and the United States State Department
