THE WORLD’S LARGEST CIVIL AIRLINER, the Russian-built TU-114 prop-jet, taking off from London airport last week to return to Moscow. The big plane has a wingspan of 177ft and a length of 155ft. The TU-114 is capable of carrying 220 passengers on short flights.
