“Master Fixer” Of Basketball
( N.2.P. A.-Reuter—Copyright) NEW YORK February 12. Jack Molinas, described as the '‘master fixer” of 1961 American college basketball games, was sentenced in New York yesterday to 10 to 15 years’ imprisonment on charges of bribery. Two other men, who pleaded guilty, received sentences of seven years and a half to eight years, and two years and a half to five years, respectively. Six others received suspended sentences and the case of a tenth man was deferred pending a psychiatric report.
