Resignation Of Mr Jarden
Mr R. A. Jarden, odd Ms broker tor New Zeetond tor the last 11 months, has resigned from this position. It is understood tont Mr Jarden, who will retain his seta on the WeHtofiton Stock Ex-
change, resigned because the odd Ms business did not reach toe expected volume. Mr Jarden’* appointanenit was made by toe Wellington Stock Exchange, with the approval of the Stock Exchange Association of New Zealand. He began odd lots broking on April 2 last year.
Business Personal
Mr W. H. NichoU* has been appointed chairman of directors of the New Zealand Refrigerating Company, Ltd., in succession to the late Mr C. P. Agar. His place as vicechairman has been taken by Mr C. S. Peate.
Mr D. D. B. Knight, formerly manager for New Zealand of the Insurance Company of North America, has been appointed branch secretary of the newly established National Mutual Casualty Insurances. Ltd., a member of the National Mutual group of companies.
