AUCKLAND. Jan. 30. A light flashing an SOS from the top storey of a hou»* in Psritai drive, Orakei. tonight brought a police patrol car searching for the escaped prisoner* racing to the acene. The tonal was spotted by the police launch Deodar while on patrol in midharbour, and a radio warning wu sent to shore patrols. To identify the house quickly the launch shone it* searchlight on the bourn. The oar party found a 13j ear -old lad practising some dots and dashes on hi* torch from hi* bedroom window. The astonished youngster doueed hie light immediately.
