Miss N. P. Simpson mistress in charge of home sewnce nt tbe Oaohmare High School, has been appointed an inspector of pout-primary schools in the South Teinrrt with ipedal reeponeibilitle* for the supervision of home science. She succeeds Miss L. E. Coleman, who retired at the end of tost year.
After schooling in Christchurch. Mtos Simpson qualified at the Cbrtotchurch Teachers’ Ooiioge and then graduated from the School of Home Science at Otago University. She then had special training to dtetetfce at the Christchurch Hoepttal. Mtos Staopeon’s first teaching appointment was as supervisor, of Oorrecpondsnce
