KERR’S REACH DANCER
Children In Dinghies
The Canterbury Rowing Association decided at its meeting last evening to press for authority over Kerr’s Reach. In proposing a motion to this end. Mr W. Richards (Union) said there was a very real danger to children during the rowing season. “We have no authority to dear the river and with
eoxswainless boats going up and down, it is highly probable that a serious accident
could occur to the children • 'o paddle around in these rubber craft," he said. “Quite / often their parents are watching from the bank, but no-one seems to realise the damage that the bow of a racing boat can do.”
