Rugby Nominated As N.I. Selector
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Jan. 29. The convener of the Wellington Rugby selection panel. Mr J. M. Taylor, has been nominated by the Wellington Rugby Football Union as a North Island selector. Mr Taylor had a notable career as a player. As an Otago representative he was selected as the All Black full-back in three tests against the 1937 Springboks and toured Australia with the 1938 New Zealand team.
He is a member of the Wellington union's management committee.
