London Slipe Prices Up

WELLINGTON, Jan. 29.
The New Zealand Wool Board and the New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board received cabled advice from the London agency of the New Zealand Wool Commission that at the London auction sales held from January 16 to January 25, a total of 3318 bales of slipe was offered.
Compared with the closing rates of the last series, lambs and sheep slipes were 5 per cent, to 10 per cent dearer. Bradford were the principal buyers.
