COMMERCIAL Share Prices Steady In Active Market
With tiie Australian and Auckland stock exchanges open again after Monday’s holiday, the volume of trading on New Zealand exchanges expanded yesterday. A total of 69 issues, compared with 44 on Monday, was traded. Mason Brothen gained 2s to sefl at 31s. Of 57 New Zealand issues traded 42 were unchanged, six improved and nine eased. Australian issues were less active, only 12 being traded, seven at steady prices.
