Swimmer Has Sore Shoulder

Press Association) INVERCARGILL, January 29 The Foveaux Strait challenger, J. van Leeuwen, has a tender ahnsiMar and there now seems little chance trial he will make another attempt at swimming the atra.it tot at least a week. Mr W. Davidson, president of toe Oreti Surf Club, said today that it could have been the cold conditions over the last few days which had caused the complaint Since van Leeuwen failed at his first attempt to swim the strait last month he has been training daily in the Oreti river.
