Mr N. R. Charles has been appointed managing director of the Singer Sewing Machine Company. Mr Charles will be responrible for the control of all Singer activities in Australia, New Zeeland and the South-West Pacific, including FIJI He replaces Mr William J. Gerty, who retired in December.
