POISONING VICTIMS
Four Children Affected
Four young children were admitted to the Christchurch Hospital during the week ended January 27 after poisoning accidents Three were admitted on January 25. A girl of 22 months took about a dozen constipation pills, and two boys aged 22 months and two years respectively both drank kerosene. The girl and one boy were discharged on January 26 and the other boy on January 27. On Sunday a boy of two was admitted after having taken a number of antihistamine tablets. He was still in hospital yesterday, in a satisfactory condition.
